Chapter 13, "The US Navy Strikes Back," objectively and thoroughly analyzes both American and Japanese evidence related to what happened to the five kaiten launched at Ulithi Lagoon. Mair avoids jumping to conclusions but rather recognizes in several cases that the fate of each kaiten and its pilot cannot be determined with complete certainty. In addition to the kaiten piloted by Nishina that sank Mississinewa, this chapter summarizes the fates of the other four kaiten (pp. 476-80):

Kiyoshi: Fates Wrath

The huge number of details included in this ship history makes this book very difficult to read from cover to cover. On the other hand, some persons, such as someone associated with Mississinewa, may view these details as the book's strength. Although many personal stories are quite fascinating, the many names make it nearly impossible to remember individual crewmembers from one chapter to another. However, some descriptions of events provide fascinating details, such as King Neptune's Court where Shellbacks who previously had crossed the equator take revenge on the Pollywogs who had never been across the equator. In a humorous event, two Pollywogs try to hide in the potato locker to escape the wrath of the Shellbacks, but their hiding place gets discovered, and they receive additional "punishment" when brought before King Neptune's Court. On the serious side, the collection of personal stories about escapes from the burning ship provide a vivid picture of the panic, horror, and tragedy faced by Mississinewa crewmen.

This episode sets up a lot of the story arcs that seems to be important in later episodes. The most exciting is Codename DTO by the Underground Student Council. Mari's wrath motivates her to devise a plan that will expel, not only Kiyoshi, but all the inmates. It's only introduced for now but the psychological chess game between the two groups is about to finally start. In this episode, Mari gathers information on the boys, focusing on their weaknesses. It looks like Mari loves mental torture and it's a good thing considering the other members prefer physical punishment.

Chiyo being related to Mari makes her a very interesting character. She appeals to her big sister's soft side and, because of that, Kiyoshi is spared from the president's wrath. It seems she has some authority, considering she's related to the two figureheads of the school (the chairman and Mari). She doesn't know it though, and that makes her an interesting character knowing that any move she makes can impact the story. She warned Mari not to expel Kiyoshi, to which big sister immediately obliged. It makes you wonder just how far her authority can go.

Piston revenge is really cruel calculating, corrupt, sly, evil, and wrathful. He was the Leader of the Colossal squad, he and his octopus army killed thousands of soldiers. As one year later, he and Black zero with his Fox guards are still searching for The Goldreef Land under the sea. He also has an enemy called Chicken little, because Chicken Little has a prophecy to defeat Him.

As dawn broke, Yangchen finally managed to convince the spirit to tell her who he was and what he wanted. She could not let him exact his revenge on the citizens for "killing" Lady Tienhai, however, so she struck a deal with the General Old Iron spirit, one she promised to maintain for eternity in exchange for a truce with the humans.[8] General Old Iron promised to never take up his armor against humanity, so long as the land remained free of human civilization. In return, Yangchen constructed a statue in Tienhai's memory and established a ritual among her people to visit the site once a year to prove that humankind could preserve and protect nature. So long as the land remained sacred to the Air Nomads, no one would dare develop the area and risk Old Iron's wrath.[22]

But not everything is peaches and sunshine at Hachimitsu. This is a show about reversals, and the most devastating one is saved for last, when a particularly wrathful redhead whom I assume is the regular StuCo president (as opposed to underground) comes to the Chairman (with her own agenda) and demands justice be doled out for Mari, Meiko and Hana. Wanting to avoid the specter of nepotism, the Chairman acquiesces.

Orochi was an extremely domineering and unreasonable man with absolutely no tolerance to anyone who defied or spoke ill of him, even if it was out of his earshot and in casual discussion. He made those actions a capital crime, which the Gifters enforced.[16] Orochi was petty enough to kill any man, woman or child who offended him, going to any lengths to see them dead (only showing temporary hesitation towards a woman he held feelings for) and refused to take responsibility for the consequences of his own actions, preferring to blame others instead by branding them as criminals.[17] Orochi had an extremely murderous mindset, becoming angry if a target escaped from his wrath and would send countless subordinates or even assassins to deal with individuals he wanted gone, no matter how threatening they may be, as well as those that protect or assist said individuals.[18][19][20] The subordinates that fail to uphold his rule are callously discarded from his ranks and then punished accordingly.

NKJ Romans 1:18 "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man -- and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen."

"Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved do NOT avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, 'Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,' says the Lord. Therefore, 2ff7e9595c
